Es ist sehr wichtig, die manchmal abstrakt erscheinenden Begriffe zum Thema Nachhatligkeit mit Filmen, Geschichten, Menschen und Gesichtern zu hinterlegen. So lässt sich mit eigen Augen sehen, dass es hier um unser Leben und unsere Zukunft geht“, so Experte Walter Spruck, Leiter des Instituts für Nachhaltigkeit in Kultur und Tourismus.
Tatort-Kommissar als Gast
In der Filmreihe#2030 Programm laufen Filme wie „Und dann der Regen“ an, ein Spielfilm aus dem Jahr 2010 über den Wasserkrieg im bolivianischen Cochabamba mit Gael García Bernal in der Hauptrolle. Anschließend diskutiert die Klasse mit Lehrern und Filmemachern, was es bedeutet, wenn um Wasser gekämpft wird. Über positive Erfahrungen berichtet Oliver Schruoffeneger, Bezirksstadtrat für Stadtentwicklung, Bauen und Umwelt im Berliner Bezirk Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Schruoffeneger hat zusammen mit der Stabsstelle Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung des Bezirksamtes und dem delphi Lux die Filmreihe #2030 konzipiert, die passende Filme zu den 17 SDGs der Agenda 2030 zeigt. Die Stabstelle versucht auch, Schulen passende Referentinnen und Referenten aus Entwicklungsländern zu vermitteln, die entweder in Berlin leben oder gerade ohnehin durch Stiftungen oder NGOs zu Gast sind.
Sechs Filme gab es in der ersten Filmreihe zu sehen. Mit Dietmar Bär war sogar ein echter Tatort-Kommissar als Gast im Kino geladen – zu sehen in „Tatort Manila“ von 1998, der für die Themen Kinderrechte, Fairtrade und soziale Gerechtigkeit stand. Der letzte Film, die Dokumentation „Bikes vs. Cars“ ist am 2. Februar im Delphi LUX zu sehen, mit anschließender Diskussion. Interessierte erhalten hier weitere Informationen.
Wissenschaftler der Universität Göttingen gehen noch einen Schritt weiter – sie wollen Schülerinnen und Schüler in Filmproduktionen einbinden. Die Wissenschaftler dokumentierten in Videoaufnahmen ihre Forschungen zur Nachhaltigkeit – etwa das Projekt „Diversity Turn in Land Use Science“ und die Vanilleproduktion auf Madagaskar. Die Konzeption der Videos sollen anschließend Schülerinnen, Schüler und Studierende erarbeiten. Das solle sicherzustellen, dass die Filme ihren Bedürfnissen gerecht werden, schreiben die Forscher. Das Projekt ist für den SDG-Bildungswettbewerb „Zukunft, fertig, los!“ des RNE nominiert.
Nachhaltigkit bei den SchulKinoWochen
Zu Schruoffenegers Filmreihe gibt es auch ein bundesweites Pendant: Die „SchulKinoWochen“, organisiert von der gemeinnützigen Gesellschaft Vision Kino, die unter anderem von der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien und der Filmförderungsanstalt unterstützt wird. Seit 2006 gibt es das Programm bundesweit, es geht eine oder mehrere Wochen im Jahr, je nach Bundesland. Lehrerinnen und Lehrer melden sich an, schauen mit ihren Klassen verbilligt einen Film, den sie für ihren Lehrstoff für wichtig halten, dazu gibt es kostenlos extra entwickeltes Unterrichtmaterial. Die Auswahl an Filmen ist groß, auch unterhaltsame zählen dazu. Als Themenschwerpunkt der aktuellen Reihe haben sich die Macher unter anderem die 17 globalen Nachhaltigkeitsziele ausgesucht, mit passenden Filmen dazu.
„Viele Lehrer und Schüler kennen die Agenda 2030 nicht. Wir hoffen, dass sie durch die Filme zum ersten Mal damit in Berührung kommen“, sagt Michael Jahn, einer der Organisatoren bei Vision Kino. Zu vielen Filmen gibt es begleitende Veranstaltungen mit Filmschaffenden und pädagogischen Referenten, unter anderem aus dem Programm „Bildung trifft Entwicklung“. Im Vorfeld finden zudem Fortbildungen für Lehrer statt. Ob die Lehrerinnen und Lehrer die Filme nutzen, um den Schülern die nachhaltigen Entwicklungsziele näher zu bringen, das bleibt ihnen überlassen. Im Frühjahr 2018 finden die SchulKinoWochen mit der SDG-Reihe in acht Bundesländern statt.
